Information Packs are now a legal
requirement for most people who are
seeking to sell a residential property.
The extension of the regime to two
bedroom properties from 14 December 2007
means that few are now exempt.
There
are a few limited categories where
exemptions may apply, such as if the
property is being sold with a resident
tenant or it is a mixed sale, such as a
shop with a flat.
West Norfolk HIPs was set up in 2006 to
provide a local solution to meet the new
requirements. Local firms involved in
the company are solicitors Dawbarns
Pearson, Frasers and Ward Gethin, and
estate agents Maxey & Son and Grounds &
Co.
We arrange HIPs for local property
sellers via their estate agents or
solicitors. Our aim at all times is to
ensure that fellow professionals have
access to the most appropriate HIP for
their clients, without interfering with
any other professional relationships
they may have in place, and without
seeking to cross-sell any other related
products.
